Wandsworth will celebrate diversity with South Asian Heritage Month during the borough’s year as the Mayor’s London Borough of Culture from 17 July to 18 August and today announces eight exciting projects, specially commissioned for 2025.
Places Leisure has been re-appointed to operate eight of the borough’s leisure and sports centres for the next 10 years, with £24 million to be invested to improve facilities and help more residents get active.
Garratt Lane will benefit from a £200,000 investment from Transport for London (TfL), thanks to a successful bid from Wandsworth Council, a further boost to Wandsworth’s biggest road resurfacing programme in London.
