Leader of the Council, Simon Hogg, has launched a bold new protocol for developers in the borough. The protocol sets out how the Council will work with developers to maximise development of social homes for rent. Councillors met with representatives from the development industry to set out the council’s position, strengthen relationships and build an understanding from both sides.

We’re making it easier to Recycle Right, highlighting common items that can be recycled but are put in with household rubbish. Residents of all ages, on the Alton Estate, have been getting involved and finding out what can and cannot be recycled. Our Cleaner Borough Plan is all about investing heavily in better services for all residents.
