Wandsworth Council has today announced that Chief Executive, Mike Jackson, will step down in the autumn. Under his leadership, Wandsworth Council has made significant progress in creating a fairer, compassionate, more sustainable borough for all.
Council is calling for far better punctuality from Thames Water – in the past two and a quarter years, there have been more than 320 separate instances of overrunning works.
In that time, Wandsworth Council has issued half a million pounds worth of fines to Thames Water.

The Homes for Wandsworth programme will deliver over 1,000 new council homes across the borough.
Randall Close is the largest project in the programme with 106 council rent homes.
The project has recently ‘topped out’ which marks the completion of external building works.
