The owner of a fast food takeaway in Tooting may face prosecution and has lost his licence to serve food late at night after councillors were told he racially abused and then assaulted a food safety inspector.
Ahead of his first show at the Battersea Arts Centre as star of Adam, Adam Kashmiry spoke to the Wandsworth Guardian. The play is about a young Egyptian trans man's journey. The amazing story has added poignancy and resonance as Adam Kashmiry plays himself, and it’s coming to BAC. The first show is today (September 18) and will run until Saturday, September 29.
The Pleasance in Putney will host nature sessions and make play improvements after Enable Parks were awarded £7,375 from the Postcode Community Trust, on behalf of Wandsworth Council.
