Families in Tooting have a brand-new place to turn for support and social connection in the heart of the community, as Wandsworth’s third Family Hub officially launched today. To celebrate Social Work Week, Wandsworth Council was invited to the Social Worker of the Year Parliamentary reception at the House of Commons on 17 March. As the 2024 winner of the Supportive Social Worker of the Year Award, the council was recognised for its outstanding contributions to the field. The event marked excellence in the profession and kicked off the 2025 awards.
