September is World Alzheimer’s Month, a global campaign to raise awareness, challenge stigma, and increase understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and all forms of dementia.

Wandsworth’s ambitious Access for All scheme, which works to make life more affordable and inclusive for residents, is already improving thousands of people’s lives less than six months since it was expanded to include more offers and a simpler sign-up process.

Wandsworth Council’s Cabinet met this week to discuss the flagship Access for All policy and the programme of sound, ambitious investment.

The Leader of Wandsworth Council has intervened on behalf of local people to urge that services at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Roehampton are not cut.   

Wandsworth residents are invited to a drop-in event in Furzedown on 2 October to get free face-to-face advice and support.
