Battersea Park Fireworks is back with a bang on 2 and 3 November.  This year, 5,000 half-price tickets are up for grabs for eligible residents under Wandsworth Council’s Access for All scheme.  Whether you're looking for a sparkling Saturday night or a family-friendly Sunday, this year’s event is guaranteed to light up the sky in unforgettable fashion. 

Private rented property licensing consultation closing soon

Wandsworth Council is seeking views on proposals to introduce two new property licensing schemes. The schemes are known as additional houses in multiple occupation (HMO) licensing and selective licensing.  The aim of these schemes is to drive up property standards, clamp down on rogue landlords and deliver a fairer borough for all.

Wandsworth's Sustainable September has come to a close, wrapping up the borough’s first ever month-long celebration of local sustainability initiatives. Wandsworth Council worked with local community groups and organisations to deliver an exciting programme of over 60 inspiring events, many funded through the Council's Climate Microgrants scheme. Highlights included Car Free Day on 22 September, welcoming the highest number of street parties in London.
